How to Set Up a Shopify Bundle App in Under 10 Minutes
Before You Start
You need an active Shopify store and at least two products you want to include in a bundle. There are no technical requirements, no developer setup, and no theme compatibility issues to worry about. Bundle MixMatch works with every Shopify theme through Theme App Extensions, which means the widget deploys automatically without touching your theme code.
Step 1: Install Bundle MixMatch From the Shopify App Store
Go to the Shopify App Store listing for Bundle MixMatch and click Install. Shopify will ask you to confirm the permissions the app needs to operate. These permissions cover reading and writing discounts and reading your product catalogue. Confirm and the app installs in seconds.
Step 2: Open the Bundle MixMatch Dashboard
After installation, Bundle MixMatch appears under Apps in your Shopify admin sidebar. Open the dashboard. You will see the main bundle management area with a button to create your first bundle.
Step 3: Create a New Bundle
Click "Create bundle" and give it a name. The name is internal and helps you identify the bundle in the dashboard. It does not appear on your storefront. Choose something descriptive like "Skincare Starter Bundle" or "Coffee Essentials."
Step 4: Add Eligible Products
Click "Add products" and select the items customers can choose from when building this bundle. You can add as many or as few as you like. For best results, choose products that are naturally complementary. Customers should be able to look at the list and immediately understand why these items belong together.
Step 5: Set Your Discount Tiers
This is where you define the incentive structure. Click "Add tier" and set a minimum quantity and a discount percentage. Add a second tier at a higher quantity with a larger discount. Most merchants start with two tiers: for example, buy 2 and save 8%, buy 3 and save 15%. You can always add more tiers later.

Step 6: Activate the Bundle
Click Activate. The bundle widget now appears automatically on the product pages for all items included in your bundle. Customers see the available tiers, the products in the bundle, and their current progress toward the next threshold in real time.
Step 7: Check Your Storefront
Visit one of your bundle product pages as a customer to confirm the widget is displaying correctly. Add items to your cart and verify that the discount updates at each tier threshold. The entire flow should work without any manual configuration or theme edits.
Next Steps
